We are thrilled to announce that our founder, Team USA Paralympic Swimming Medalist, author, and United Nations Envoy on Youth representative, Jamal Hill, is joining forces with Southern California Educators through The SoCal Swim Project to promote and celebrate our differences through disability awareness, swim education, and the power of self-confidence!

Students will also receive a copy of the captivating children's book "Sammy Swims," a teacher's guide, and a printable coloring book for all students.

*Students in Southern California schools have priority for swim lessons

Want to be one of the lucky schools to receive an exclusive visit this school year?

Jamal would love to visit every school in Southern California, but unfortunately, he can't be everywhere at once. Out of 100 eligible schools, our team has prioritized schools with the highest population of low-income students, minority students, and students with disabilities.

If you know of a school, after-school program, or youth-serving organization that would benefit from this opportunity, please help us help them by requesting a visit. Together we can make a difference.

Our students need more access to local role models and inspiring leaders from all professions.

A Southern California Native himself, Jamal remembers what it was like growing up in our school systems. He uses his own experience to connect with students and inspire them to achieve their full potential. Students have been amazed by his determination and perseverance, and leave feeling motivated and empowered to make a difference in the world. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn from a true champion.

“Hill embodies a combination of the competitive swimming spirit of Michael Phelps with the self-determination, community advocacy and direct agency of Nipsey Hussle.”
